Short-form editor & content strategist / Temecula, CA
I turn long-form interviews into short-form that people finish. Two and a half years of watching full episodes, finding the moments that stand alone, and cutting them for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Daily publishing since November 2023.

The core of the work. I watch the full episode, find the moments that survive without their context, and cut them. On these I picked the moment and briefed the editor. On everything below this section I cut it myself. Both halves of the job, and the first one is the bottleneck.
Sit-down conversations cut into standalone shorts. A guest says something good at minute forty of a long take, and the job is finding it, framing it, and making it land in three seconds for someone who has never heard of them. Edited and published by me.
Unit economics and money mechanics made watchable for people who did not open the app to learn about either.
Short-form for an e-commerce company rather than a personal brand. Beardbrand has faces on camera, but the videos belong to the company: house voice, product knowledge, and a format that holds up regardless of who is presenting. Every one of these passed a million views.
One episode is a month of content. A long interview holds eight to twelve moments that can stand alone. Finding them is the hard part and the part most teams rush. I've done that pass on hundreds of hours of long-form.
Cadence beats polish. One video a day, every day, since November 2023. The 76M came from showing up daily with a disciplined hook, not from one lucky upload.
I run editors. I hire, brief, and QC a freelance team against a written standard for hook, caption accuracy, audio, and platform-safe framing. Nothing publishes until it passes. A show only scales if the selection taste is documented, not stuck in one person's head.
I build the tooling. When review load got heavy I wrote it out of the job: a pipeline that transcribes long talking-head footage, detects scene changes, and pre-screens editor submissions so a human only reviews what needs it. Long-form interview footage is exactly the input it was built for.
I shoot too. Sony A7IV, 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II, so I can cover a keynote or a fireside myself rather than only cutting what I'm handed.
